Ruth Ella Mae Turley, of Sulphur Springs, Texas, passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022. She was born in Phoenix, Arizona on March 22, 1927, to Evelyn Bernice (Stowell) and Ira Edsel Muse.

She is preceded in death by her parents and late husband, Carl Edward Turley. Her only survivor is her beloved son, James “Jim” Turley of Sulphur Springs, Texas.

Ruth was a God-fearing, bible-reading, person of faith. She was a devoted mother to her only son. She befriended those around her and cared for all with a full heart. She was known as a hard-working woman who never hesitated to sacrifice and provide for her son.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at the Collvins Memorial Funeral Home at 10:00am with the funeral service to follow at 11:00am. The Burial will follow at the Sulphur Springs City Cemetery.
