Eddie Don Shew
Obituary
Eddie Don Shew, of Caddo Mills, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at the age of 77. He was born in Paris, Texas on November 24, 1945, to Willard and Zora (Golden) Shew.
He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Patsy.
Don was a talented musician, composer, and singer. He played the guitar, wrote Christian music, and even recorded some of his songs. He wrote a children's book and loved to watch the Cowboys and Rangers.
Survivors include his sisters Shirley Bryan and husband Bill and Linda Peznell and late husband Don; daughter, Julie Newman and his son Andy Shew and wife Ana, several nieces, and nephews; grandchildren, Karla Martinez, Krystal Lara, Nick Newman and Victoria Shew; great Grandchildren Alex, Dimas, Olivia, Jose, Kourtney, Destiny, Amilya, Lincoln, Ella and Sean.
Don will be honored with a cremation ceremony and will be inurned at his final resting place, at a later time.
