Christopher Wayne Chauvin, 60, passed away on February 08, 2022 in Winnsboro, Texas.  He was born on October 09,1961 in Dallas, Texas to Alphonse and Donna Jo (Hill) Chauvin. 

Christopher was a 1979 graduate of Mesquite High School.  He met and fell in love with Renee Davis in grade school.  They married on October 02, 1982 and moved to Mount Vernon where they raised their four children. Christopher was a chicken house attendant working on chicken farms for many years, and prior to that was a dispatcher with the Franklin County Sheriff's Department for 10 years.  He was a member of Good Hope Church, former member of the Franklin County Sherriff’s Posse, VFD for Mount Vernon and Purley, a first responder for Purley for many years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Al and Donna Chauvin; Son, Cody Chauvin; brothers, Perry Chauvin and Danny Chauvin

Christopher is survived by his wife, Renee’ Chauvin of Scroggins, TX; three daughters, Betty Jo Chauvin of Scroggins, Christine Chauvin Fowler of Mount Vernon, and Heather Chauvin Orren of Scroggins; grandchildren, Kadie Orren, Alexus Orren, Tripp Fowler and two other grandchildren; one brother, Alphonse Chauvin of Center, TX; and one sister, Donna Potter of Arkansas.

The family will hold a private celebration at a later date.
